While Bishop Edward Turner attended the Morris Cerrullo School of Ministry in 1979, he received a vision for the Ministry which was to become Power of Love. Over the years, Power of Love has grown tremendously as a result of the vision, all to the Glory of God! Power of Love now has many church ministries - Success Orientation, Youth with Honors, Children's Kingdom, Musicians Workshop, and Praise and Worship Seminar - just to name a few. Power of Love has a Community Center that reaches out to its surrounding neighborhoods to feed the hungry, distribute bagged food, and distribute clothing.
The purpose of Power of Love is to minister life and love to a dying people through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; to be a beacon, guiding the whosoever wills; a furnisher of the appropriate gear to an army capable of making God's enemies His footstool; and a preparer of the way for our soon coming King.
What We Believe
We believe in one God, Creator of all things,, being three in One; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God; became incarnate; was begotten by the Holy Spirit; born of a virgin, Mary; and is the true God and true man. We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Loving God’s people and being a servant to all. Quite different from working in the Corporate world and being an entrepreneur having started various businesses which included traveling to many countries.
Ms. Gray attended three private business colleges in the Los Angeles area and received certificates from each one. She also graduated from Southwest College, Los Angeles, California with an AA Degree in Humanities and obtained a BSM Degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University. Little did she know by acquiring this knowledge it was getting her ready for the Real Life that God had called her to.
Ms. Gray has a passion for helping people and soon became an apprentice of Bishop Edward R. Turner. Under his tutelage, she received strict training, guidance and supervision. Soon Scottie moved to a prestigious position as Outreach Director and Assistant to the CEO. In this position she dealt with elected officials, along with law enforcement agencies, top management and many CEO’s of Corporations. Under the guidance of the CEO she assisted with the developing of Multi-Faith groups throughout California.
